Cheryl works as a crossing guard for the school, while Rose is in 3rd grade. Because they are both at the same school, Cheryl volunteers in Rose’s class during the day, when not on cross guard duty. “I just get to see her more than I used to, and that’s probably my favorite part of having my mom work here,” Rose said.
