#TeamTUSD: Barbara Bracker-Sam
A woman in a blue sweater smiles next to a man in a blue suitDuring a recent school visit to Lineweaver Elementary, Dr. Trujillo was able to meet longtime Tucson Unified employee Barbara Bracker-Sam. Barbara, who also goes by Barbie, is currently in her 40th year working for the district. Of those, she has spent 38 years at Lineweaver. Although people doubt she will actually go through with it, Barbara plans on retiring at the end of this school year – and it is well deserved! But just because she plans on retiring doesn’t mean she won’t continue to help at Lineweaver. Barbara said she plans to volunteer at the school, as well as spending more time tending to her home and taking care of her granddaughter.
